Nana

When Nana came to meet you for the first time
She was over the moon
You looked at her with your cute face
And she said, "I could eat you with a spoon"

Nana came to visit
And help take care of you
She bought you some clothes
And your favorite turtle, too.

Name came to church
To watch the preacher baptize you
She was so proud of her grandson
And certainly everyone knew.

When you were three-months old
We went to get pictures taken
You weren't so sure about it
But when you saw your Nana, what a smile you were making.

On the way home from the beach
You had a meltdown and started to cry
Nana came to the rescue
And rode in the car to soothe you, little guy.

You only knew Nana for five months
But she loved you so much
One day we will tell you stories
And you will have memories that no one can touch.

Nana you were so special
And we love you
You will always be missed
And our thoughts will carry us through.

The Park

We took an impromptu trip to the park today on our way to the grocery store. Griffin loved the swing! He would have stayed in there all day if he could.

Scott - It's time to break out the tools. I think I see a project in your future - building Griffin a swing set.

Beach Bum at 5 months

Griffin is 5 months old today. We celebrated by taking a trip to the beach this week with my family. He had a blast. He especially loved the water, kicking and splashing the entire time.

Griffin is growing so fast and becoming such a little man. New things in the past few weeks: Rolling over, Sitting up with assistance, Laughing & giggling, Reaching for everything in site.

Roll over, Roll over

And send Griffin right over. Today was an exciting milestone for our little Griffin. I thought he was never going to roll over but he made our hearts smile today with his new talent. He's been a wiggle worm this past month and was finally able to roll over today. Here's a video of him doing the "roly poly".

Happy 31st Birthday, Daddy!

Today is daddy's 31st birthday. We celebrated this weekend with a family trip to Kanki. Griffin loved watching the chef cook. This afternoon Griffin made a birthday card for daddy. Happy Birthday, Scott!
