Fun at the Fair

We went to the State Fair and Griffin was amazed at all of the rides, lights and animals. He was so busy running around that I didn't get any pictures, but here is a video of him riding the train. He was so excited to get on the train and he must have said "choo choo" a hundred times during the day.

Dinosaurs!

We went to the museum this weekend and saw the dinosaur display. Griffin loved running down the path saying "roooaaarrr" at all of the dinosaurs. He was amazed at how big they were and he even got to dig for fossils before we left.

Aunt Kim's Birthday Party

We took a road trip to South Carolina on Saturday to celebrate Aunt Kim's birthday. Christian-Kate organized a cookout and we had a great time. The weather was wonderful and Griffin loved playing with his cousins.

Also, here is a short video of Griffin helping the girls bob for apples.

19 Months

Griffin is 19 Months Old!

Griffin, at 19 Months you:
Talk non-stop. You've started speaking in phrases and talk to us all the time. You pick up new words everyday and make us laugh.

Are becoming so brave. Every time we go to the park you climb a little higher and are determined to do everything by yourself.

Are so spunky and full of energy.

Will do anything for a sip of sweet tea (a true Southerner).

Love preschool. It makes me happy to see you run in with a smile on your face.

Still hate riding in the car. Even when we pack bags of toys and a DVD player.

Will not go anywhere without one of your babies. You take a stuffed animal into every place we go.

Cars, Trucks and Choo Choo's

Griffin is becoming such a little boy. He has always gravitated towards blocks, balls and airplanes and now he is slightly obsessed with cars, trucks and trains. When we go into a store he can spy one from a mile away and to keep him happy I end up buying it, which means we have a ton.

Now, I never pictured myself playing in mud puddles, talking about cars and motorcycles, making siren sounds and choo choo noises. But I wouldn't change a thing and couldn't imagine it any other way.

Pumpkin Patch

We hit the road for Mr. B's today, a great little pumpkin patch near our house. This was our first year going and I think Griffin will love it more and more each year.
