Griffin took his first trip to the Natural Science Center in Greensboro today. We took advantage of the beautiful weather and strolled through the animal exhibit. Griffin saw monkeys, tigers, otters, sheep, llamas and peacocks.

First Haircut
We took Griffin to Peek-a-Do for his first haircut today. He was born with a headful of hair and it's been growing fast ever since. His hair cut is so cute and he looks like such a big boy now. He did so well that we celebrated by giving him his first cup of vanilla ice cream from Chick-fil-a.

Road Trip
Griffin went to visit his GiGi and PopPop this weekend. He had such a good time and spent the weekend playing, crawling and exploring their house. He took his first trip to the Cheesecake Factory, and he loved the food. Of course, while they were at the mall, GiGi couldn't help but spoil him and bought him lots of new spring clothes! Uncle Jon Jon even stopped by to visit on Saturday.

11 months old
Griffin is 11 months old today and the one year mark is fast approaching.
New at 11 months:
He loves to play and it is so fun to interact with him. He likes reading (or turning the pages), opening cabinet drawers, building with blocks and chasing the dogs in his walker.
He enjoys music and loves musical toys. He attended his first music class and loved playing with the instruments.
Griffin mastered crawling and is now all over the house. He's also started pulling up to a standing position and moving around from object to object while holding on.
He sleeps through the night!!!!
Favorite foods: chicken nuggets, hot dogs, mashed potatoes, grits, yogurt, cottage cheese, vanilla wafers, broccoli, cheese quesadillas and goldfish. No baby food - he's onto big boy food! He also loves whole milk and he's officially stopped taking formula. He drinks milk for his meals and bottles.
He has a mouthful of teeth. 8 in and 2 more on the way. All of these teeth should come in handy next month as he dives into his first birthday cake.

Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day from our little cupid. Griffin started off the day by opening his first Valentine's card. He also got a special treat for breakfast - strawberry yogurt in the shape of a heart and a heart shaped cookie with his name.

Weekend Happenings
We took it easy this weekend since Griffin just started feeling better. With the temperatures in the 60's we took advantage of the warm weather by playing outside. Griffin got a new bounce toy. He enjoyed jumping up and down and walking around the sides. I think this will be a big hit this summer. He also practiced eating popsicles and snuggling with Scott on the sofa. We also attempted to let him have Playdough ... not sure we're ready for that yet!
