Lollipop

Griffin was such a good boy he got a lollipop as a reward. He loved it and the sticky mess was worth the 20 minutes of silence! Quiet does not exist in our house anymore and we love that.

Bathroom Fun

We caught a picture of our mischievous boy tonight. In a matter of seconds Griffin made his way into the bathroom and destroyed a roll of toilet paper.

Timmy Time

Every night before bed Griffin gets to watch about 20-30 minutes of TV. His absolute favorite show is Timmy Time. As soon as he hears the intro music he runs over to the TV and smiles. I'm pretty sure this is his favorite part of the day.

Weekend Activities

Our weekends have changed a lot since Griffin was born. Our normal day starts between 6:30 - 7:00 and doesn't slow down except for nap time. Entertaining him for 10 - 11 hours can be quite the task somedays.  He loves to play, but is constantly on the move. Here is a peek into our weekend activities, which doesn't include our trip to the park.

Playing with the house. He loves all of the little doors.

Now, onto racing cars along the floor.

Next up, swimming in the pool

Back inside to throw balls

Outside again to drive the car

Brining mom the measuring spoon to help her cook.

Making shapes with the playdoh.

Reading books.

Arts & Crafts. Griffin loves rocks so much.
We decided to paint the rocks different colors!

Wagon ride with dad and the dogs - Chaos!

Tired of the wagon. He is a big boy and wants to walk.

My favorite - night time snuggle with mom.

Home Run

With the end of college baseball season wrapping up we wanted to take Griffin to his first game. It was very hot at the game, but Griffin had a blast. I'm pretty sure he didn't leave an inch of the stadium unturned. He even found a patch of rocks on the way out!

14 months

Griffin is 14 months today and he is full of energy. His personality is so big and he is becoming such a little boy. He doesn't stop from the minute he wakes up - constantly on the go - finding toy after toy to play with. He loves being outside, which is perfect for this great spring weather. Plus, being outside gives him another opportunity to look for rocks, which is his favorite activity right now. Griffin also loves going on wagon rides and walks through the neighborhood.

Griffin is starting to understand phrases we say, like - "come here", "take another bite", and of course "let's go outside". He also has started mimicking sounds. For example, when the dogs bark, Griffin barks ... very cute! His favorite words to say are bye, rock and ball.

He is becoming a picky eater now and definitely has an opinion for what he wants to eat. His favorites are chicken, broccoli, potatoes. But, if he could eat goldfish for every meal he would - those are his absolute favorite food and we don't leave the house without them.

Cheesing for the camera

Playing with cars - he loves racing them along the floor

Griffin is teething and chews on everything - 12 teeth and counting

Weekend Fun

This weekend we went to Monroe to celebrate Mother's Day and Griffin had such a good time playing with GiGi, PopPop and Uncle Jon Jon. Griffin's absolute favorite activity is playing with rocks. He could spend hours walking around outside picking up rocks. He likes to hold them, put them in baskets and pass them to anyone who will hold them. So, needless to say, Griffin convinced PopPop to play with the rocks all weekend! Griffin also got special treats from the Easter Bunny who made a stop at GiGi and PopPop's house. He loved his new stuffed animals and carried them around all weekend.

Busy Boy

Griffin talks, walks, dances and doesn't stop moving. He loves going outside and his new favorite activity is picking up and playing with rocks in the driveway. In fact, his favorite words to say are ball, rock and bye. Griffin is so curious and loves to read books and he picks up on everything. Our little sponge soaks it all up.
