Thanksgiving School Party

Both kids had a Thanksgiving lunch at school a few weeks ago. With them both in school it makes it tricky to be at two parties at the same time. Scott and I split up and switch classes so we can be with both G and SK. After the party, we jumped in the car for a whirlwind Thanksgiving break. First stop was Aunt Kim's house in SC, then onto Gigi & Pop's new house in NC.

Magna Doodle Art

One day at nap time Griffin decided it would be more fun to draw than to sleep. He kept coming out of his room showing us his masterpieces - a bus, pumpkin and carrot. We were so impressed with his drawing skills it was hard to be upset with him for getting out of bed during rest time!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from our Carolina football player and cheerleader! The kids started the day by dressing up in their costumes for a parade at school. Later that afternoon they had class parties and we ended the night trick or treating downtown. The kids had a blast and more sugar than they could handle.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Best Friends

Griffin's best friend is Greyson. They've known each other since 18 months and are still good friends. They are in the same class at preschool and this week the teacher's lesson was about friends. Griffin and Greyson took pictures together and wrote stories about each other. It's so sweet to see these little babies grow up into big boys with special friends.

Mom's 32 birthday

We celebrated my birthday with a family lunch at Nantucket. The kids were on their best behavior and we had a great time.

SK is 21 months

Sarah Kate's personality is really developing. At 21 months she is becoming more vocal, learning new words and definitely wants everything her way.

SK will repeat words or phrases that she hears. We watch Dora the Explorer every night before bed and swiper always says, "Oh Man", which SK repeats every time. She also is saying: thank you, sorry, I turn (my turn), MINE, mommy, dada, NO, yes and more more.

She is spunky and full of energy, loves snuggling and playing with us. She is doing so well at school and loves being outside. She still loves to eat and is not picky about food at all. SK always wants to play with her brother even though he isn't a fan of that yet.
