15 Months

Griffin is 15 Months Old!

New at 15 Months ...

Repeating words. He has become a little talker trying to copy what Mommy & Daddy say. Newest favorites: Bye, This (dis), Shoes, Pup, Weeee.

Understanding basic things like "Take another bite", "Sit down", "No No" (even though he doesn't always listen), "Let's put on your shoes"

Griffin is in the 95% for height and weighs 25lbs 11oz (70%).

Reading. Every night we spend 20-30 minutes reading books before bed. He loves interactive books with sounds or flaps to turn. He also enjoys turning the pages.

Becoming interested in all things BOY. He loves rocks, trucks, playing outside, going to the park, and playing in the dirt. When he's ready to go outside he brings us his shoes.

Griffin understands when he's done something good. We always clap for him and say good job and now he's begun to clap for himself.

Pool Party

Griffin went to his first pool party this weekend. He had so much fun at the party and loved watching the big kids. Happy Birthday, Gavin!

Bye Bye

I was finally quick enough to capture Griffin talking. He loves telling us bye and here is a preview of his sweet voice.

Lollipop

Griffin was such a good boy he got a lollipop as a reward. He loved it and the sticky mess was worth the 20 minutes of silence! Quiet does not exist in our house anymore and we love that.

Bathroom Fun

We caught a picture of our mischievous boy tonight. In a matter of seconds Griffin made his way into the bathroom and destroyed a roll of toilet paper.

Timmy Time

Every night before bed Griffin gets to watch about 20-30 minutes of TV. His absolute favorite show is Timmy Time. As soon as he hears the intro music he runs over to the TV and smiles. I'm pretty sure this is his favorite part of the day. 

Weekend Activities

Our weekends have changed a lot since Griffin was born. Our normal day starts between 6:30 - 7:00 and doesn't slow down except for nap time. Entertaining him for 10 - 11 hours can be quite the task somedays.  He loves to play, but is constantly on the move. Here is a peek into our weekend activities, which doesn't include our trip to the park.
