Making Halloween cookies

Griffin and I made cookies for Halloween today. It was definitely messy (but what's not with a little baby). As you can see he had a great time playing with the flour and decorating the cookies with the icing and sprinkles.

7 month stats

Since Griffin had to go to the doctor for his flu shot, I thought I would take advantage of it and find out his new stats. He is weighing in at 19 pounds, 6 ounces which is right in line with the 75%. I think I see a football player in our future.

Griffin pulls himself up

Griffin is growing and learning more and more everyday. It's amazing to see him accomplish so many new things. We're so proud of his new talent - pulling himself up.

First Tooth

Griffin's first tooth finally popped through this week. We thought it would happen soon because he's been drooling more than our dog over the past few weeks. I keep trying to get a picture of his tooth, but he's too quick and always covers it up with his tongue as soon as he sees the camera.

State Fair

We took Griffin to the State Fair today and he had a blast. He enjoyed a few kiddie rides and mom and dad enjoyed a little too much fried food, but we all had a great time. Here are a few pictures and videos from our trip.

7 months old

Everyone told me that Griffin would grow up so fast, and it's true. Our little boy is 7 months old.

Griffin is developing quite a personality and he is so much fun. He squeals in excitement and smiles and laughs all the time - he is such a happy boy. It amazes me how much he learns everyday. He can pull himself up with our help and loves playing in the walker and walking around the house (he thinks he is so independent moving around the house by himself).

He is a busy boy - Griffin grabs everything in arm's reach and he's fast. He can put something in his hands and destroy it in less than a nanosecond. It definitely keeps mom and dad on their toes! He's also learned to tell us when he's done eating - he closes his lips together very tight so the bottle or spoon can't fit into his mouth anymore. Most of all, my favorite new talent is listening to Griffin is say mama all of the time.

I can't wait to see what he learns next! Here are a couple of pictures of him in his pajamas, playing before bedtime.
