Griffin's Photo Shoot

I'm the proud mother of a busy, buzzy, stuck in fast-forward little baby boy. He's at an age where playing with any toy for more than 15 minutes doesn't cut it despite our living room having the capacity to light up, squeak, honk or play a high-pitched version of some nursery rhyme. So today we planned an outing for GiGi and Griffin to come visit me at work. We had the opportunity to do a quick photo shoot and here are a few pictures. To see the full album click here. Enjoy!

When Carrots Attack

Feeding has gotten a little messy lately. Griffin gets so excited when he gets in his bumbo chair. I can't get the food in his mouth fast enough. The issue is that he likes to "help" mommy by putting the spoon in his mouth ... which pretty much means he is covered with food from head to toe. Tonight, it seriously looks like he got attacked by the carrots. I'm hoping this doesn't become the norm!

Baby pool

With temperatures reaching near 100 this weekend we thought it was time to invest in a baby pool. Griffin loved splashing and playing. He is officially a water bug this summer!

4-month check up

Griffin had his 4-month old checkup this week. He weighed in at 15 lbs 15 ozs and was 26.75 in long. Quite a jump from last time - he grew 5 inches in 2 months! I think we have a basketball player in the making. Now I'm just waiting on our season tickets to arrive.

Tummy Time

Griffin is so proud that he can hold his head up by himself ... you can tell he wants to say "Mom & Dad - look at me!" His little smile makes changing diapers, feeding bottles, changing outfits and cleaning up well worth every minute.

Griffin's Baptism

Griffin was baptized at First Presbyterian Church in Monroe today. It was a very special day and we celebrated by having lunch with our family and friends. Griffin was a little angel.

4 months old

Our sweet Griffin is 4 months old today. He is becoming more active and we can't believe how much he is growing.

New in the past few weeks:
kicking and grabbing his feet
taking off his socks
trying to hold his bottle
smiling and cooing
trying to eat from a spoon

Now if only I could add sleeping through the night to the list!
