Little Picasso

Griffin has really been interested in art lately. Everyday after school he wants to draw and color. We thought it might be fun for him to experiment with paint and he had a blast. He used his hands, got nice and dirty and painted us a beautiful picture. 

Big Brother Party

Griffin brought "Big Brother" cookies to his preschool class to celebrate becoming a big brother. The cookies were a big hit and all of his friends got to meet his baby sister.

Brother and Sister

Griffin and Sarah Kate - both 4 days old.  I love looking at their pictures and seeing the similarities between them. I definitely think they're related!

Big Brother

Griffin has been so sweet to his sister and I think he finally realized she was here to stay. He's been such a big helper. He likes to help change her diaper and share his toys with her.

Settling In

We are glad to be home and are enjoying a few days settling in and adjusting to having a newborn again. It has been so exciting having our family of four together. We've had several visitors over the past few days!

Sarah Kate Parker

Sarah Kate was born Monday, January 23, 2012. She was 19 inches long and weighed 8 lbs, 8 ozs (which was more than her brother!) She's such a sweet baby and she's the perfect addition to our family.

Our little helper

Lately Griffin has become such a great helper. He says "mess" with such a Southern accent and will pick up trash and put it in the trash can. He also says "dirty" and then wants a paper towel to clean up. He definitely does not like his hands or feet to be dirty and wants them cleaned right away! He is our little neat freak and loves to help mom and dad clean the house. His favorite activities are sweeping, unloading the dishwasher, grocery shopping and helping with laundry.
