SK is 17 months

Sarah Kate is officially 17 months old and time is flying by so fast. She is such a sweet little girl. She loves to be held. Loves to eat. Loves to play with her brother (when he will allow it). She also loves to be outside. If she hears the door open she runs over as fast as she can to try and escape outside.

SK is really starting to understand what we are saying and has started following simple commands such as get your shoes, find your baby, sit down and don't do that or no no. Although, she is very feisty and doesn't like to hear that very often. She is starting to say a few more words and her newest one is "cheese". She loves saying it when she sees the camera.

Sarah Kate is still in preschool and is doing great. I think each month she enjoys it more. She likes having playmates and loves singing and dancing.

Conversation with Griffin

Tonight's conversation with G.

G- "Mommy, what you get at the store? Anything for me?"

Me- "I got you some orange juice"

G - "I love orange juice! It's my favorite! Yeah!"

Me - "Want me to fix you a glass?"

G- "No thanks"

Griffin loves to run

Griffin loves to run. Every time we go outside he wants to race. He's smart and always asks Scott to run with him. Then he picks a target and their off. Running to the fence, to the mailbox and the tree. He also prefers to win the race. If anyone beats him to the finish line he is not a happy athlete.

SK says bye bye

Sarah Kate is saying a few words at 16 months including mama, dada, uh oh and bye bye. I was finally able to capture her sweet voice repeating bye bye on camera.

Griffin's request

Here is our dinner conversation.

G- "Mom I really want a bird. Can I get a bird?"

Me - "No, we can't have a bird."

G- "But I really want one."

Me - "Why do you want a bird?"

G- "So it can fly in the house and share a Popsicle with me."

Zoo Trip

We decided to take a trip to the zoo as part of the long Memorial weekend. The kids had a great time seeing all the animals and riding the carousel.

SK is 16 months

Sarah Kate is 16 months old. She is happy, curious and always on the move. She is suddenly picking up new words and her favorites are bye bye and uh oh. She loves to play dress up and put on lots of jewelry, especially necklaces. She is a great eater and there isn't much she doesn't like. She also sleeps great, usually 12 hours a night. SK also loves to point to things, whether it's something she wants or if she just wants us to look at something. She is a sweet girl and we love all the kisses and snuggles she likes to give.
