SK is 7 months

Time is flying and my little baby isn't so little anymore, in fact, she weighs 17 lbs and is 7 months old.

Sarah Kate is so curious and always wants to see and experience more everyday. She is sitting up by herself which makes playtime a lot easier. She puts everything into her mouth and is drooling like crazy. I have a feeling it won't be much longer before we see teeth.

Feeding has also become more challenging. She loves eating, but insists on having something in her hand the entire time. This leads to big messes for mom and dad because she is always knocking over her food. She is quick too ... she will grab our food off the table and have it on the floor before we even know what happened.

Sarah Kate is so laid back and easy going. She loves bath time and splashing in the water. She is sleeping through the night so mom and dad are very happy about that. We love our little Sarah Bear.

Pullen Park fun

We spent a Saturday at Pullen Park and had a great time. Sarah Kate loved the swings! Griffin loved the train ride but was not a fan of the paddle boats. As soon as he and Scott pulled away from the dock he was ready to get out. Scott started pedaling as fast as he could .... too bad they had a long ride ahead of them.

Playing together

Now that Sarah Kate is getting a little older, it's easier for her and Griffin to do the same activities. They both like to look at books and color together. However, I think SK enjoyed the game of trying to see how fast she can shove a crayon in her mouth before mommy notices. Yeah, we played that several times before we moved on to another activity.

Reading to sissy

Explaining the story to her

Sweet babies

Coloring together

Mom, I will eat this crayon

Griffin laughing at sissy trying to eat crayons after they were taken out of her mouth at least 20 times.

Griffin loves truck books

Griffin loves reading books, especially ones that are interactive, and ESPECIALLY ones that involve trucks. Here is a video of him talking about the construction vehicles in the book.
