Griffin gets glasses
We found out that Griffin needed glasses after an appointment with the eye doctor. The doctor determined he is farsighted and that the left eye is twice as bad as the right eye. He got fitted for glasses within days and has now been wearing them for almost a week.
Griffin is doing so well with them and we are so proud of him. He looks so cute in his glasses and we hope that this solution will help his eyes so that he only has to wear his glasses for a short time.

SK is 4 months
Sarah Bear,
I can't believe you are already 4 months old. You are such a sweet little girl and we love you so much. You LOVE to be held and love to snuggle. SK, your 4 month check up was today and you got a good report. You weigh 14 lbs, 12 ozs.
You love to grab and hold things now. You've figured out how to take your passy out, but can't get it back in yet which equals lots of crying. SK, you put everything in your mouth. You found your feet and like to put those in your mouth too. You also started drinking out of bottles and are doing so well. You even like to help mom hold your bottle and spoon.
SK, you smile a lot and you've started to recognize familiar faces. You rarely cry and when you do I know you are either hungry or want your diaper changed.
Your neck is getting so strong and you've almost mastered holding your head up. You've just recently started to talk and coo a lot more. I can't believe how fast you are growing up and I can't wait to see how you change over the next four months.

Yum Yum
Sarah Kate sat in her chair for the first time and had her first taste of rice cereal. She loved it and tried to be extra helpful by holding the spoon for mom. Can't wait to see how she likes vegetables!

Nursery Rhymes
Griffin is constantly talking and loves to sing. He has music class twice a week and today he was so excited to show us what he had learned. Here he is singing Itsy Bitsy Spider, Old MacDonald and Twinkle Twinkle (with a mouth full of food).

Spring Time
We are enjoying these warm spring days. Sarah Kate loves to be outside and here she is getting ready to go for a ride in her stroller. Unfortunately, it takes as long to get everything packed for the ride as it does to actually go for a ride, but she has a great time.

The Zoo
Today we skipped school and took a trip to the zoo. The weather was perfect and everyone had a great time. There were lots and lots of animals to see and Griffin and Sarah Kate loved all of them.
